Zeleny suggested that Jill’s consistent advocacy might have ultimately influenced the decision.
Jill Biden herself confirmed her support for the pardon, stating, “Of course, I support the pardon of my son” when speaking to reporters at the White House.

President Biden defended his decision on Sunday, stating, “I believed Hunter was being selectively and unfairly prosecuted.”
